ECIC

The ECIC is the official export credit agency of the South African government, established under the Export Credit and Foreign Investments Insurance Act 78 of 1957. The mandate of the corporation is to facilitate cross-border investment and export trade by providing commercial and political risk insurance to South African exporters of capital goods and services to support medium and long-term loans advanced by banks and other financial institutions.
